If you need to purchase a new A/C system, you have no doubt been presented various SEER-rating options. These determine the efficiency and initial cost of your unit. Basically, the higher the seer rating, the more money you save on your air conditioning bills. SEER stands for "Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating"--aka how much electricity is this thing gonna eat up this summer?!
